• Washington Lodge #17 Award - Protective Services

  • Eligibility: Open to any graduating high school senior who is a resident of the city of Easton proper or senior participating in the Protective Services Program at the Career Institute of Technology and who has filed an application. Preference will be given to applicants that will pursue a curriculum in law enforcement related or social services type courses towards an Associates or Bachelors Degree.

    Include a short essay on your interest in being a law enforcement officer or social services worker.

    Standards: Consideration will be based on scholastic record,personal characteristics, and financial need.

    Amount: One recipient of $750.00 to a graduating senior from Easton Area High School, Notre Dame High School or the Career Institute of Technology’s Protective Services Program.

    The recipient will receive a certificate at a Fraternal Order of Police meeting after acceptance to a college of their choice and the$750 award will be made after the awards committee receives a transcript copy of the first semester of passing grades of that recipient. The transcript copy must be received in the Easton Police Department no later than one year after the recipient was presented the certificate.
